Redesign the AOL Desktop
Replace the drab AOL desktop with something new, something unique every day!  With the ability to choose images to place in the AOL desktop, DesktopFade takes designing your own colors to a new level.  Fade any two colors together, split them in half, or fade them in a circular pattern and save those schemes for later use!

Desktop Rotation Queue
The Desktop Rotation Queue allows you to store the names, styles and locations of several fades, colors and images into one queue so they can be easily referenced and/or automatically rotated to keep the appearance of your AOL desktop fresh!

DesktopData
Display system information (and any text you like) in any or all of the four corners of the AOL desktop.  Pre-programmed variables you choose will be translated to their actual value, directly onto the AOL desktop.  These variables range from current system and hard drive stats, DesktopFade tag information, AOL information and much more.  Example variable strings to use within the program can be found here.

Fade Animation
When using the "Faded Colors" feature of the DesktopFade program, the angle for dual and split color schemes can be animated.  The fade angle changes before your eyes!

DesktopFade Tags
Save "tag" information for each of your DesktopFade entries, including title, author, date created and comments.  This information could come in handy when sharing your DesktopFade creations with online friends!

Fade Scheme Sharing
With so many possibilities in creating new color scheme Desktops, including the random "Desktop of the Day" feature, some really unique and interesting combinations have turned up during development.  DesktopFade for AOL now includes the ability to share these Desktops and their tag information (color or images) with other folks using the DesktopFade Share feature.  Importing Desktops from other friends is as simple as double-clicking on the downloaded file.  The unique DTI and DTC file extensions for shared Desktops will automatically install the information into your DesktopFade for AOL program!

Desktop of the Day
DesktopFade for AOL will generate a new "random" DesktopFade daily at startup.  Optionally these DesktopFades can be saved to your current collection for access at any time.  The screenshots show four different "DesktopFade of the Day" samples.

Live Update Notification
We do update our software often.  With DesktopFade's Live Update Notification technology, you can be notified of these updates with one click!  To further facilitate this function, DesktopFade will now download and install the update for you.  The entire process is seamless!
