What is a Love Letter?

In a word: Testimonials.  Unsolicited comments that users of our software have sent to us.  Our Registrations Clerk, E.J. describes them as "Love Letters".  Additional little handwritten notes that come with orders.  Replies to technical support mail and lost registration number requests.  Little "thank you" blurbs to let us know that we are still appreciated.

They always put a smile on our faces and I keep every one of them in a folder marked "Love Letters".  As they have been coming in since 1995 or so, it takes awhile to read them all.  Here are a few of my favorites.
 

Kevin I've just got to say this!  I have installed many, many programs on my PC's over the years.  Never, never, ever has any of them been so easy (and bug free) as any Terminator upgrade!  You should go to Microsoft and others to show them how it is done! Keep up the good work! - Joe

The original program I had was AutoDialer. That was way back in the beginning.  So glad to see that you have grown. I can remember the "early days." Somehow, when I sent my little 5 dollar bill, I knew that you could be trusted. Everyone said not to. Now they all use the program.  Keep up the good work Kevin and staff. - Marion

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how pleased I am with my Terminator program. I've had it for almost a year and it's the best thing that's ever happened to my computer! (LOL) Not only is the software great but the tech support and customer service you provide is "THE FINEST IN THE INDUSTRY". Thank you so much for developing such fabulous software!

I use your "Buddy Plus" to "protect" me from an "online stalker" that uses many names and attempts to contact me at all times under different names.  Since installing "buddy plus" I have finally had some peace and quiet, and have almost determined all of his names. THANK YOU! - S.
 

Your Terminator is one great program and a super good value at only 5.00, Without this program I would dump AOL in a New York second.  Hope you're doing good and do even better in the future. - Tony
 

Just a quick email to confirm the fact that you are a genius!!!

I can't tell you how happy I am with the Terminator program. It works like a dream and I use almost every feature it has. I even compose commonly used letters and save them as signatures and then just pop them out when necessary. Thank you so much for a terminator program that is......well, flawless!!

...I am currently trying out the IMs Plus program....so far so good.  Another wonderful program!!! I am VERY happy with it and especially happy that it is compatible with my terminator program. It too works flawlessly. I can now talk with up to 4 or 5 people at one time and none of them would even suspect it!!! (by the way...I type very fast!!). I am still trying out the features, but I think it's awesome.

...Thanks for taking the time out to read my email. I'll be sending my registration fee in soon in the hopes that it helps in your effort to continue making excellent quality products for us AOL users.

I wanted to let you know that I followed the instructions provided to try and resolve the conflicts that WavMan and my computer were having. THEY WORKED! WavMan10x is working just fine now. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!  

...One more thing I give TPA an A+ on the Tech Support in resolving this problem. To be honest I never thought I would get a response to my initial letter. And on my previous letter to you I was willing to throw in the towel and continue using the 9x Version of WavMan and you went the extra mile to continue helping me. Larger corporations could sure use some customer relations classes from you. - Robert

NOTE:  This letter has always touched me.  It's amazing how little programs can affect the lives of so many people.  I try to stay in touch with these two from time to time to see how they are getting about.  :)

I recently sent the registration fee in for the WavMan & I gotta tell you, I absolutely love it, so much that when I found the download for Buddy Plus I could not resist trying it...I cannot imagine not having them.  You come up with some neat stuff.

Also, as I explained in my last letter to you when purchasing the WavMan, IO paid for it because my brother is living with me & originally got the computer for him.  Maybe you'll remember when I tell you that he was run off the road by a drunk driver which left him paralyzed from the upper chest down.  By getting him a computer, it has opened up a whole new world for him & I am pleased because he is trying more & is not so withdrawn.  He had shut himself off from everything & lost interest in life.  I couldn't really blame him as he is so young & has his whole life ahead of him, but I had to find something to interest him.  As much as he fought against a computer, now that it's here he is a lot happier & looks forward to new things now.  He met many people online & is slowly getting his self confidence back.  as I said, I am thrilled......I really thought we were gonna lose him there for awhile.  He is especially happy with the answering machine.  It takes him longer to get thru his mail & was having a hard time with the IMs but the answering machine is helping him a lot.

Thank you so much for your products.  It means a lot more to some than others.  Oh & also the Buddy Log, he loves knowing who gets on & off & where they are, this is also a lot easier for him since he doesn't have to bring up the Buddy List.  I just cannot thank you enough.  Your programs have helped me too as I had polio & suffer from post polio so I know most of what he is going through.  I want you to know that your programs are not just fun but they mean a lot more to some of us than they do others - A. The cool thing about Buddy Plus & WavMan is that there is nothing missing!  What I mean is that I don't turn it on and wish it had other features or that it doesn't do exactly what I have in mind.  It's too much fun to be able to pick the colors of the windows in Buddy Plus and separate wavs for each person -- it is like a celebration and I smile when I hear "their" wavs. - A.K.
