You've read the list of Messenger Plus features, and it sounds great, doesn't it?  All your friends have been telling you to get Messenger Plus, but you're still not sure what to expect?  Well then, check out these screenshots!  Messenger Plus is packed with cool features, and these are just a few of them!  If you would like to take a look before downloading and installing Messenger Plus then this is the page for you!

Messenger Plus enhances your AIM Instant Messages by adding new, powerful and playful features not included in the standard AIM software. One of the first things you'll notice when you send or receive an IM is the enhanced window that holds your. When using the enhanced IM window, each IM has its own tab with the screen name or nickname (if assigned) of the sender.

When you receive a new IM or a reply to an existing IM, the arrow indicator will turn red. Switching IMs is as easy and clicking the desired tab or pressing the tab button on your keyboard!

Messenger Plus enhances the AIM chat room by adding new, powerful & playful features not included in the standard AIM software. One of the first things you will notice when you enter an AIM chat room is the enhanced window that displays the chat room. Each room that you enter is assigned its own tab titled with the chat room name. If you decide to enter more than one room, you will have a tab for each chat room open. Viewing the conversation in other chat rooms is as easy as clicking the chat tab or using the tab key.

When Messenger Plus is loaded and AIM is running, you'll notice that the advertisements on the buddy list are gone! The bigger of the two ads near the top is replaced with the Messenger Plus menu bar which gives you access to virtually all of the features found in Messenger Plus!

The Nickname feature allows you to assign nicknames to replace screen names. Screen names in the IM tabs, Alerts, Logs, etc will be replaced with the assigned nickname.  When you assign a nickname to a buddy, it appears in the tab associated with the IM. This makes it much easier to recognize when friends IM you! Nicknames also appear in IM Alerts, Buddy Alerts and in Buddy Log files.

Use the Buddy Notes feature to save comments and E-Mail address of people you talk to.

Messenger Plus comes with powerful logging options! By default, Messenger Plus logs chats, IMs and Buddy List activity. IMs and chats are logged with the close of the IM/chat window. The process is completely transparent! Buddy List activity is logged in real time.

The Messenger Plus Log Viewer is a fairly simple window that allows you to view and print your IM & Chat conversations and Buddy Logs.

Messenger Plus assists you in fading your AIM profile by adding the necessary features to the Edit Profile window.  Fading you profile is as easy as choosing a fade and clicking a single button!

The Text Alert feature allows you to assign keywords or phrases as your alert text. Once you have chosen desired alert text, give it to your special friends and ask them to type this word when they send you an IM. When the designated text is detected in an IM, Messenger Plus will display a message box and/or play the assigned wav sound to get your attention. Various alert words can be disabled or enabled by placing or removing the check next to the word respectively.
