TPA Software Registration Department

...is based in Florida. Our customer database and registrations are handled by E.J. Provance at AOL email address tpaorders@aol.com.  If you register with us, your registration number will come from this email address.

Late or Lost Registration Numbers

Everyday we received quite a few letters from customers who say one of the following things: "Its been 3 weeks since I sent my registration and I still have not received my number", or "you cashed my check (charged my Visa) and I did not receive a registration number."  The answers are really quite simple.  There are two primary reasons we get these kinds of letters.  We are sharing these with you in hopes that it won't happen with you, should you decide to register a program with us.

  • Deleted Mail
    tpaorders@aol.com is the AOL email address for our registrations department.  The Registrations Clerk, E.J. Provance sends out all the registrations from this E-Mail address on a daily basis.  Every complaint we get about a registration number not being sent is fully investigated.  If the name is in the the database we keep then the status of that sent mail is checked.  Eight times out of ten, the mail has been deleted.  We realize this is an easy mistake people make in lieu of the junk "spam" mail problem.  A new registration number is then re-issued and the case is closed!
     

  • Blocked E-Mail
    AOL has a feature that will allow any given member to block incoming E-Mail. This is AOL's solution (or one of them) to the junk "spam" problem they experience.  This leaves the problem of allowing certain mail to get through.  We currently have several registrations, some of them months old that are waiting to be sent to their rightful owners.  The ironic part about this problem is these same people E-Mail us frequently, in some cases demanding to know why they have not received a registration number yet.  When we go to reply, we get that message from AOL that "this member is currently not accepting E-Mail from your account."  Our hands our tied in this case.  Our registrations department will attempt to send a "snail mail" to those users, should we have an address available.

Because we have no control over these two issues, TPA Software and its employees accept no responsibility for undeliverable registration numbers of this kind.  We will gladly re-send you a registration number should it have been accidentally deleted, and if we have your address, we will write you and advise you that your E-Mail is turned off, also providing your registration number.

What we need from you!
There are two simple ways to avoid these problems.  If you have sent away for a registration number for one of our products, please make sure you look for the following:

Unblock your E-Mail
If you have all E-Mail blocked, AOL allows you to un-block certain people while blocking all the rest.  At the very minimum, the following email addresses need to be unblocked: kevin@tpasoft.com (tech support) and tpaorders@aol.com.  This will allow you to communicate with the chief tech support screen name and the registrations department.

Watch for your registration
Online orders can take between 1 to 3 days.  Orders that were sent via U.S. Postal Mail can take up to 3 weeks after it has been sent to us.  When we send registration numbers, the subject line will say: From TPA Software, your (program name) registration number!  The program name section would be the name of the product you registered.  An example for WavMan would be: From TPA Software, your WavMan registration number!

These are the two things you can do for us to ensure you get your registration number as fast as possible with the least amount of complications!  :)

tpasoft.com E-Mail Addresses

Some of our staff have tpasoft.com E-Mail addresses.  Any E-Mail address that ends in tpasoft.com is incoming only which forwards the mail to an AOL screen name.  So, if you have your E-Mail blocked to most people and have, for example kevin@tpasoft.com unblocked...you still will not receive a reply as replies will come from AOL screen names.  Those are the screen names that need to be unblocked.  The official staff list for TPA Software is as follows:

Mailing Lists and Spam

Let it be known that TPA Software will *never* send out junk "spam" mail to advertise our products, nor will we ever send unsolicited mail.  Basically, you won't hear from us unless we hear from you first.  We are always here for our customers, but we will leave you alone unless you request help from one of our staff.

The only exception to the above paragraph is our own Listserv: TPA Software Updates and News,  which one would have to sign up for.  If interested, you can do this via the TPA Software News Center.

Also, it is company policy that our customer databases remain confidential and private. We have not, will not, and will not ever sell names to "spammers" or other parties who would like to mooch off our customer database.

License Agreement (Refund Policy)

The terms SOFTWARE and SOFTWARE PRODUCT refers to all software products that TPA Software sells.  For a complete product list of SOFTWARE PRODUCTS that this License Agreement covers, please view the Products page.

AMERICA ONLINE INC AOL DID NOT WRITE, AND SHALL NOT WARRANT, SUPPORT, OR ENDORSE THIS SOFTWARE. THE RECIPIENT / USER OF SUCH MATERIAL DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. AMERICA ONLINE INC. ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY WHATSOEVER.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
 

GRANT OF LICENSE
This License Agreement grants you the following rights:

DISCLAIMER:
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is distributed and licensed on an "as is" basis and no warranties or guarantees of any kind are promised by TPA Software as to its performance, reliability or suitability to any given task. In no event shall TPA Software be liable for any loss of data or ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, financial, physical, emotional or other, which might arise from its use.

Either the author, nor his representatives, agents, partners or other related parties shall be held liable for damages of any type, financial or otherwise.

DISTRIBUTION:
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may NOT be sold without prior written consent from TPA Software.

REGISTRATION:
You may register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with either your credit card, a money order, a check or cash. There may be a 24-48 wait for all credit card transactions.  There is a 10-15 day wait on all personal checks. If you register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with a personal check, a registration number will not be issued until the personal check has cleared the bank. All registrations with money orders and cash are sent the same day they are received.

RETURN CHECK/CHARGEBACK POLICY:
All returned checks are subject to a fee of $30.00 plus the original amount of the check. All chargebacks from credit card companies over disputed charges for the registration fee of our products are subject to a $50.00 fee plus the cost of the original charge. All returned checks/chargebacks may also be turned over to collection agencies for reconciliation. TPA Software reserves the right to charge $1.00 each month in late fees for a returned check is not reconciled. In the event that returned checks and chargeback debts are not reconciled in a timely manner, TPA Software can and will suspend registration numbers and technical support until such time as bad debts are reconciled.

ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION NUMBERS FOR AOL ADD ONS:
Registrations numbers are non-transferable between AOL accounts and other programs offered by TPA Software.  Please read our new policy concerning Multiple AOL Accounts and Registration Numbers

REFUNDS:
All sales of our products are final. No refunds will be issued, guaranteed or promised. Please be aware that once a registration number has been issued, there is no way for TPA Software to recall or rescind a registration number. There is no way for TPA Software to be guaranteed that WavMan has been uninstalled and is no longer being used.

The whole concept of shareware is that the program may be evaluated FREE for an extended period of time. This is to ensure that the program is working to satisfaction BEFORE payment is submitted for the program.

LIMITATIONS ON REVERSE ENGINEERING, DECOMPILATION AND DISASSEMBLY:
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.

TERMINATION
Without prejudice and other rights, TPA Software may terminate this License Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of the License Agreement. In such an event, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

MODIFICATION
TPA Software reserves the right to change this License Agreement at anytime without warning.

COPYRIGHT
All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by TPA Software. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.
