Wow! Amy and I have spent the last two Sunday's at Cuso's Club and Cantina in Indian Rocks Beach watching my buddy Greg Billings (formerly of the Stranger band and Damn the Torpedoes). You talk about a hell of a show! There may be a lot of old school rockers still out there on the circuit, but I would bet that very few of the almost-50 crowd can still put on a show like old Greg can. He's even made an ass out of me for two weeks in a row and had me on stage with him to finish out a set. Thank God for this wonderful creation called alchohol or I can assure you that that would have never happened. If anyone is interested in seeing what I'm talking about, Amy and I will be at a few more shows over the next couple of weeks. We will probably be back at Cuso's again next Sunday. The following Saturday night, Greg is having a Stranger DVD release party at the Daiquiri Deck in Mad beach. Finally, the following week we have a close friend from Maryland in town who likes live music. So, we will be following the Greg Billings Band out to New Port Richey for another very entertaining live show. Fun weekends ahead. Now on to a favorite topic of mine that has already been touched on here a few times. HBO's Deadwood. What a great show. However, would it be as good without as many 'f-bomb's and 'cocksuckers' thrown around as there are? I think not. There's no better way to set the mood for a nice Sunday night with your wife than hearing 48 'fucks' and 52 'cocksuckers' in the span of 50 minutes. Good stuff. Come to think of it, I do believe it's Sunday night and the mood has been set. I'm off to fulfill my duties! Until next time friends...

As my vacation is Disney draws to a close, I expect to be back home by Sunday evening. Carrie, Jeff, Amy...if you want to add photo albums to the blog, use buzznet. You can create a free account there and upload yur pictures. I will then add code to this site that will list them down the left side just like mine. Are there too many "Cocksuckers" on HBO's Original Series Deadwood??? Jeff and I decided to count them and in the spirit of fun we decided to make a wager on it. The over/under was 12 and I took the under. Fortunatley for me, Al Swearengen was suffering from kidney stones and didn't speak so "Cocksucker" was only uttered 9 times. We chose to count during the next episode just for fun, no wagers. "Cocksucker" was used 14 times but about 8 of those were during a 15 second scene with Mr. Wu. Mr. Wu hales from Chinatown and cannot speak english, except for "Swearengen" and Cocksucker."

Synthetic Reality is no more. No April Fools. The ship has sailed and it's time to accept the change. I've taken what's left of this web log and made is communal with some of my closests (and oldest) Internet friends. We were blogging even before the terms was ever coined, especially Carrie...it seems only appropriate that we come together again as older more seasons adults...err, children. <g>
